A Saucy Books Contemporary Book Club Pick — 5/5 ⭐

This was one of our Contemporary Book Club picks and we absolutely loved it. The banter, the story, the romance — all of it. It was a full 5/5 from us and has quickly become one of our favourite contemporary romcoms for summer.

A must-read.

Between trying to succeed in her new job, gently interfering in her sister’s engagement, and figuring out why her roommate and best friend are acting suspiciously weird, Annie has a lot on her plate.

And then there’s Connor.

The banter is sharp, the chemistry is building, and Annie is starting to realise that taking matters into her own hands might be a little more complicated than she thought.
