This is our very first Saucy Reads Retreat — an intimate, founding edition weekend in the English countryside designed for readers who want to fully disappear into story, friendship, and softness.

📅 The Plan

Friday March 6th - Arrive late afternoon → dinner → cosy movie night

Saturday - Slow morning reading Countryside walks or hot tub dips. Private chef dinner in the evening

Sunday March 8th - Long, lazy breakfast. Farewell lunch. Depart early afternoon

This is our first-ever retreat. A founding edition with a small, intimate group of romance readers hosted by Saucy founder, Sarah. 

The weekend is designed to feel like staying at a friend’s impossibly chic country house — if that friend also curated your reading list and stocked the fridge with prosecco!

£325 per person
All-inclusive, Friday evening through Sunday lunch.

This is intentionally priced as a founding Saucy weekend — intimate, luxurious, and accessible and made possible thanks to a Saucy customer who has generously let us use her home for the weekend. 

For context: most reading retreats begin at £1,000+ (often without alcohol, book credit, or chef experiences).

Join us for a single, indulgent day in the countryside.

£125 — Saturday Escape (Lunch + Retreat Access)
Includes full daytime access to the house, lunch, drinks, snacks, goodies, welcome tote, and £20 book credit.

£175 — Saturday Escape + Chef Dinner
Includes everything above PLUS our private chef dinner experience on Saturday evening.

Limited day passes available to preserve the intimacy of the retreat and pick ups/drop offs to the train station are included. 

Important Notes

• Rooms are shared (each room has a superking bed). Please book with a friend or bestie.
• Transport from the nearest train station is included. We'll provide suggestions for transport after booking. 
• Dietary requirements will be collected after booking.
